Passion Conference 2019… should you go next year?

Passion 2019 was one for the books.

40,000 18-25 year olds got together to worship Jesus. And His presence… His presence was there.

And let me tell you… it was incredible.

40,000 broke, college kids raised over $448,000 to donate to the Deaf Bible Society

Our goal was $280,000 so we could share the gospel to 5 different countries in their own sign language (did you know that there are over 400 different sign languages?!). With $448k, we are spreading the gospel to SIXTEEN different countries to those who have never been able to hear the gospel.

That is Jesus right there. Most college students can’t afford to even put a dent in a $280,000 goal.

The biggest takeaway from this conference was that if we bring the light, God will spread the bonfire. And He sure did. Thanks to Him, more people will be able to hear the Word of God for the first time.

How incredible is that?

The first time I went to Passion was back in 2012. It was the first time I was ever exposed to theologians like Frances Chan, John Piper, and of course, Louie Giglio.

I am very aware that God is always with us. But I’m telling you, it was Passion 2012 when I first felt overwhelmed with His presence.

Since then, I went on to pursue a minor in Christianity from college. Makes total sense with my Biology degree, right?!

My cousins and I after our last session at Passion 2019. We were exhausted but marveled at God’s presence.

But despite how much I loved Passion and how “life-changing” it was for me, I didn’t attend another conference after 2012.

Until 2019, at age 25… which is technically my last year.

But it won’t be my last.

Next year, at Passion 2020, I will be choosing to serve. And y’all… we’ll be in the MERCEDES-BENZ stadium… and on New Year’s Eve! Yes, we’ll be bringing in 2020 worshipping Jesus!

If you are 18-25 years old, I would highly encourage you to attend Passion 2020 with us next year. You can even register now by going here! If you want to be a Door Holder and serve at the event, you can get information on that here.

Hope to see you next year!
